Steward's Report
Flying Tully – Late scratching at 1.26pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to being on season. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Big Weekend was quick to begin. Swift Success raced wide in the home straight.
Big Weekend underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr V. Millington regarding Big Weekend's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Big Weekend was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Millington pleaded guilty to the charge. Big Weekend was suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
