A pre-race sample was taken from Manila Sultan.
Manila Sultan and Peaches were slow to begin. Reality Mask was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Trainer - Mr. J. Uglietta, regarding the racing manners of Hot Cross in the home straight. After taking evidence from Mr. Uglietta, acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, in particular the head-on vision, Stewards took no action in the matter.
