Mincher Magic (Checked in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Brian Brown regarding the racing manners of Mincher Magic in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Brown, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
