Steward's Report
Disheveled, Vincent Bale, Bakis Bale and Cuthbert Binns were slow to begin.
Bakis Bale (turned its head outwards and marred Voss Ali turning into the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a pelvic injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mrs. Samantha Grenfell regarding Bakis Bale’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Bakis Bale was charged with marring. Mrs. Grenfell pleaded guilty to the charge. Bakis Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
