Paw Zachary underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abdominal muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to representative Mr S Coulson regarding Paw Zachary’s racing manners on the first turn, home turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Paw Zachary was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr S Coulson pleaded not guilty to the charge. Paw Zachary was found guilty and  must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sunburnt Jethro - overall performance, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Leatham regarding Sunburnt Jethro’s performance throughout. After hearing submissions from Mr D Leatham, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Sunburnt Jethro unsatisfactory. Sunburnt Jetho must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. Olaf was quick to begin. Paw Bradley and Grannie May were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to the representative Ms Deb Coleman regarding Paw Bradley performance and racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Ms D. Coleman, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, no further action was taken.

Talkin' Bluey, Aston Record and Natalie Bale were quick to begin. Smiling Bee was slow to begin.

Aston Record - checked turning out of the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

More Boost Rico was slow to begin.

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after a bird was positioned in the home straight. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.

Paw Louis - severely checked turning out of the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left fore. No stand down period was imposed.

Circle The Space - severely checked turning out of the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Cooper Summer was quick to begin.

Representative Mr. Peter Franklin failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Balloon Head for racing. A $100 fine was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
