Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Irelyn Bale.
My Girl Piper and Irelyn Bale raced wide in the home straight.
Rie Bale [checked on the first turn and lost ground] underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Solar Tiger [severely checked on the first turn and lost ground] underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left flexor tendon injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Colin Baker regarding the racing manners of Solar Tiger on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Baker, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
