Steward's Report
Fifty Short was quick to begin.
Hyperkinetic underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a laceration on the right foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards noted that the timng system malfunctioned immediately after this event, displaying an incorrect winning time on the semaphore board as a result. This was corrected to the actual time of 19.112 prior to Stewards calling the All Clear.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Fifty Short – the winner of the event.
