Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from On Repeat.
Jams Nimble and Mad Kev were slow to begin.
The start of this event was delayed due to difficulty in boxing Wild Rover. Greyhounds that were boxed (1,3,5,7), were removed from the starting boxes and all greyhounds underwent an examination by the On-Track Veterinarian, and subsequently passed fit to race in accordance with GAR 110(7). The race was delayed by approximately 7 minutes whilst this occurred. The race commenced at 5:26pm.
Stewards spoke to Ms Kelleigh Smith regarding the unnecessary delay in boxing Wild Rover in this event. A warning was issued to Ms. Smith pursuant to GAR 105 (9). Wild Rover will also be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106.
