Stewards spoke to Representative Mr M.Chilcott regarding the racing manners of Soho Jill in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Chilcott, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Pyrenees Chateau and Thunder Bay were quick to begin. County Tyrone was slow to begin. 

The judge semaphored the incorrect numbers of 4 – 8 – 1 – 6. This was corrected to 5 – 4 – 8 – 1 before the All Clear was given.

Thunder Bay (turned head outwards in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs J.Chilcott regarding Thunder Bay's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Thunder Bay was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge. Thunder Bay was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Perfect Ace – Late scratching at 2:03pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to elevated temperature. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Majestic George was quick to begin. 

Mcivor Alfy (lost ground approaching the second turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A post race sample was taken from Hillbilly Lexi - winner of the event. 

Cruising Amy and Sandy's Lunar were quick to begin. Extinction raced wide in the home straight.

Bakali Lass (severely checked approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left shin soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Khan Craig. 

Penny Blue Demon was quick to begin. 

She Is Scarlet – Late scratching at 2:02pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to pappiloma. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Little Poppet raced wide in the home straight. 

Kinimakatka underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request – no apparent injury was reported.

Little Poppet (raced wide on the second turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr C.Hose regarding the racing manners of Little Poppet on the second turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Hose, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Delightful raced wide in the home straight. 

Aston Recall (turned it's head inwards in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 9. Aston Recall was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Andrew Symons regarding Aston Recall’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Aston Recall was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Symons pleaded guilty to the charge. Aston Recall must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lucky Fernando was quick to begin. Ben Ollie raced wide in the back straight and again in the home straight. 

A post race sample was taken from Elite Blazer - winner of the event. 

Kalinya – Late scratching at 9:31am when Trainer Mr D.Elliot reported the greyhound to have a left toe injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Bennachie Ash was slow to begin.

Racing was indefinitely delayed at 5:35pm due to track lighting issues. Track maintenance staff could not rectify the issue. Stewards abandoned the race meeting at 6:22pm.

Due to the track lighting issues, the Stewards abandoned the meeting (Races 10, 11 and 12) at 6:22pm, pursuant to GAR 111(4). All bets on greyhounds in the abandoned races are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds in the abandoned races are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. Prizemoney will be split evenly between the eligible greyhounds as at the time of abandonment.
