It was noted that the muzzle on Aston Tafari became dislodged during the running of the event.

County Tyrone and Tiger Stripes were slow to begin.

Singing Billy (lost considerable ground turning off the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left wrist and right fore sesamoid. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. John Bray regarding Singing Billy’s performance. After hearing submissions from Mr. Bray, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Singing Billy unsatisfactory. Singing Billy must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

My Sugar (checked and lost ground in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

County Tyrone underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. Donna Knight regarding County Tyrone's racing manners in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms. Knight, viewing the available race footage. and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning.

A post-race sample was taken from Edinburgh Bale - winner of the event.

Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter, D. Robertson, did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Blackpool Urban – Late scratching at 2:07pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a tail injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Ruinart and Orson As were slow to begin.

Who You Kissin' (checked and contacted the running rail in the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh injury. A 5 day stand-down period was imposed. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Chris Reynolds to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Who You Kissin' in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Salmon Spray was quick to begin.

An out of competition sample was taken from Circle The Globe on 28/06/2024, pursuant to GAR 139.

Little Brew was slow to begin.

Roxy Crumpet and Sunshine Gold were quick to begin.

Little Poppet raced wide throughout the event.

Freeman Bale, Armagh and Artificial Blue were slow to beign.

Idyllic Meyer, Aston Pace and Twenty Deep were quick to begin. In Secret and Offensive Lady were slow to begin.

In Secret (lost ground over the concluding stages) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right stopper injury. A 5 day stand-down period was imposed.

Capital Gain and Blame Spencer were quick to begin. Sonic Sonny, Hello Jett and Quantum Leap were slow to begin.

Sonic Sonny (marred Bravado in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury and a spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Marcus Lloyd regarding Sonic Sonny’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Sonic Sonny was charged with marring. Mr. Lloyd pleaded guilty to the charge. Sonic Sony was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hello Jett (severely checked and stumbled in the back straight, subsequently tailing off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind. A 5 day stand-down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Golden Scotch. 

Aston Baht and Ibrox Cooper were quick to begin. Firebird Flyer and Cherry Red were slow to begin.

Sylvan Lake (faltered soon after the start and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left shoulder and a right triangle injuries. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
