Steward's Report
Ginger Lodge and Very Trendy were slow out. Batik Miss, Smurf's Whisper and Villainous Vixen collided soon after start. Very Trendy raced wide on the first turn. Our Jacqueline and Smurf's Whisper collided on the second turn checking Our Jacqueline. Ginger Lodge and Batik Miss collided approaching the home turn.
Very Trendy was vetted and no apparent injury was detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Desaubin, trainer of Very Trendy regarding the greyhound's performance. Mr. Desaubin said that he was disappointed with the greyhound's run as the greyhound had trialed well at Warragul last Wednesday. Mr. Desaubin said that the greyhound had put in a similar run at Cranbourne recently after trialing the greyhound in the week leading up to the race.
