Where's Mahogany and Waratah View were slow out. Jordy Pordy and Where's Mahogany collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Valletta Grace raced wide approaching the first turn. Maxim Reality checked off Thomeli Diamond approaching the first turn. Black Rage checked off Maxim Reality on the first turn. Jordy Pordy, Where's Mahogany and Maxim Reality collided approaching the home turn severely checking Jordy Pordy, Where's Mahogany and Black Rage. Waratah View and Paper Chaser collided in the home straight. Valletta Grace raced wide in the home straight.
Where's Mahogany was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
