Steward's Report

Cape Royal and Delamac were slow out. Son Of Daicos and Spanglish collided soon after the start checking Son Of Daicos. Drak, Caribbean Flash and Kapica collided approaching the first turn checking Caribbean Flash. Drak was checked off the heels of Kapica on the first turn checking Caribbean Flash, Delamac and Son Of Daicos, Caribbean Flash and Delamac fell as a result. Drak and Spanglish collided on the first turn, Spanglish lost ground as a result. Caribbean Flash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Delamac was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triceps and small wound to left forleg and right hind leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed Spanglish was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small wound to the left hock, no stand down period was imposed. Steward's issued a warning to Mr. P. Grima, the trainer of Spanglish regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.
