Steward's Report
At Kennelling time Trainer of "Yellow Collar", Mr. Gary Ennis, sought permission to endorse the greyhound for "early races" due to its behaviour in the kennels. The greyhound was examined by the club's veternarian in accordance with the GRV Early Race Policy and the stewards endorsed his request. The greyhound was also vetted prior to competing and was passed fit to run.
Daring Display, Living Colour and Nanchero Prince were slow out. Living Colour checked off the heels of Next Contract soon after the start. Yellow Collar and Ekala Blue collided on the first turn, checking Yellow Collar. Living Colour and Yellow Collar raced wide on the home turn.
Yellow Collar vetted- cramped, 5 days stand down.
