Steward's Report
Thorgil Spatz was slow out. General Banner and Not Declared collided approaching the first turn. Charlie Magee and Stylish Solrac collided on the first turn. Charlie Magee veered out and fought Jukambi on the home turn. Sheila's Choice veered out on the home turn, checking Charlie Magee and Sheila's Choice. Charlie Magee vetted- injured left hock and will stand down for 10 days . Acting under rule 80.1 Stewards suspended Charlie Magee for 28 days Geelong and pursuant to rule 81.1 directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial before again being nominated. Sheila's Choice vetted- no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr. Leigh Mitchell representative of the greyhound Sheila's Choice regarding the manner in which the greyhound raced on the home turn. Stewards issued Sheila's Choice a warning regarding its racing manners. Samples were taken fom the winner of the event, Thorgil Spatz.
