Wendino Chief, Six Litre and Helconia Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Six Litre, Helconia Miss and Mahogany Secret. Auto Wave and Wendino Chief collided on the first turn. Razz's Star checked off the heels of Six Litre on the first turn. Six Litre and Razz's Star collided on the second turn. Negated and Mahagony Secret collided approaching the home turn. Auto Wave and Mahogany Secret collided approaching the winning post.
Six Litre was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. A sample was taken from Wendino Chief, the winner of the event.
