Era In Judgement, Agua Caliente, Red Raw and Trewly Vain were slow out. Era In Judgement and Agua Caliente collided soon after the start. Luscious Leigh clipped the heels of Intent Warrior approaching the first turn. Red Raw checked off Intent Warrior on the first turn. Agua Caliente checked off Intent Warrior on the first turn, checking Red Raw and Era In Judgement. Trewly Vain veered out and fought Intent Warrior approaching the home turn, checking Intent Warrior. Trewly Vain veered out and fought Luscious Leigh approaching the home turn, checking Luscious Leigh. Agua Caliente and Trewly Vain collided on the home turn. Luscious Leigh raced wide in the home straight. Trewly Vain veered out and fought Red Raw approaching the winning post.
Trewly Vain was vetted - No apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to T. Womann, trainer of Trewly Vain in regards to the greyhound's performance in the event. Acting under A.G.R.R. 80.1, Stewards charged Trewly Vain with fighting and suspended the greyhound for 3 months all tracks, and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to A.G.R.R. 81.2, before any future nomination will be accepted.
