Sir Ducal was a late scratching at 8:44am due to injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Our Situation was slow to begin. Dewana Sienna, Archerfield, Lorian Moth, Hair Raser and Neon Fortune collided on the first turn checking Archerfield and Lorian Moth. Our Situation checked off the heels of Archerfield on the first turn. Dewana Sienna and Coonawarra collided several times from the third turn to the home turn checking both greyhounds. Neon Fortune checked off the heels of Coonawarra entering the home straight.
