Steward's Report
Sooty Legs was slow to begin. Sit Down Jack checked soon after the start. Sit Down Jack and Sooty Legs collided approaching the second turn. Danbuck and Frankie Heritage collided on the home turn. Sit Down Jack and Galloping Wally collided entering the home straight, checking Sit Down Jack, Galloping Wally and Sooty Legs. Sit Down Jack veered out and fought Galloping Wally in the home straight.
Samples were taken from the winner of the event, Delusive Bale.
Sit Down Jack was vetted following the running of the event (No Apparent Injury Found).
Stewards spoke to L J Hampton, Trainer of the greyhound Sit Down Jack in regards to the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
Acting under AGRR80.1, stewards charged the greyhound Sit Down Jack with fighting. Acting under AGRR81.1, stewards will stand down Sit Down Jack from competing at Warrnambool for 28 days and directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (All Tracks) before any further nomination be accepted.
