Where's Spitz and Tara Thornton were slow out. Boss Dougie was very slow out. Shy Guy Beach, Tsunami Joe and Return The Flame collided approaching the first turn checking Tsunami Joe. Can't Fight Fate contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Boss Dougie and Where's Spitz collided on the first turn checking Where's Spitz. Tsunami Joe galloped on the heels of Where's Spitz approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Can't Fight Fate, Shy Guy Beach and Tara Thornton collided approaching the home turn checking Can't Fight Fate.
Tsunami Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
