The start time for race four was amended to 8:38PM
Rhino was slow out. Takapuna Beach and West On White collided soon after the start checking Takapuna Beach. Tusken Raider crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Zoe Allen, Bernmar Lass and Barnabas. Barnabas and Zoe Allen collided approaching the first turn. Zoe Allen checked off the heels of Bernmar Lass approaching the first turn. Takapuna Beach and West On White collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Barnabas checked off the heels of West On White on the home turn. Rhino and Bernmar Lass colided entering the home straight. Rhino checked off the heels of Bernmar Lass in the home straight.
Takapuna Beach was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained torn webbing, right hind, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
