Steward's Report
The start time for race three was amended to 8:22PM.
Smartie, Mr. Chill, Token Tivoli and Wongawillirodd collided soon after the start checking Smartie and Token Tivoli. West On Stella and Booma Bez collided approaching the first turn. Token Tivoli and Wongawillirodd collided on the first turn checking Wongawillirodd. Booma Bez checked off the heels of West On Stella on the home turn. Smartie checked off the heels of Argent in the home straight. West On Stella eased approaching the winning post checking Smartie.
West On Stella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right sesamoid, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 98(1)(d), the stewards charged West On Stella with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT before any future nomination will be accepted.
