Din Gadget was slow out. Minardi Tears, Howling Zephyr and Storm Front collided soon after the start, checking Minardi Tears, Din Gadget and Storm Front. Minardi Tears and Ashkaleta collided on the home turn. Ashkaleta, Din Gadget and Tough Buster raced wide on the home turn.
