Holly Noely and Nimble Spot were slow out. Shanlyn Jordy checked off the heels of Loopy Tiger soon after the start. Loopy Tiger, Rudies Toes and Thumbelina collided and checked approaching the first turn. Ripin Ronnie and Nimble Spot collided on the home turn. Thumbelina checked off the heels of Loopy Tiger on the home turn. Nimble Spot and Ripin Ronnie collided approaching the winning post.
Loopy Tiger was vetted injured (torn right back muscle) stand-down 21 days.
