Steward's Report
Johnnyrosco, Micky Hunter and Trew Courage were slow out. Johnnyrosco and Micky Hunter collided soon after the start checking Trew Courage. Schmokin Allen checked off the heels of Mia Emma soon after the start checking Johnnyrosco and Trew Courage. Micky Hunter and Trew Courage collided on the first turn causing Trew Courage to stumble. Schmokin Allen checked off the heels of Mia Emma approaching the second turn. Mia Emma checked off the heels of Rare Respect on the third turn checking Johnnyrosco. Johnnyrosco and Schmokin Allen collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Johnnyrosco, Micky Hunter and Schmokin Allen. Rare Respect and Mia Emma collided on the home turn.
Trew Courage was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left wrist and soreness to the left biceps. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Trew Courage down from competing for 7 days.
