Steward's Report

A pre-race swab sample was taken from Magic Trance. Vozh was slow out. Fenceline and Vee Twin collided soon after the start. Fenceline, Vee Twin, Vozh and Magic Trance collided soon after the start checking Vee Twin and Vozh and severely checking Fenceline. Foreign Legion and Magic Trance collided approaching the first turn checking Magic Trance. Fenceline checked off the heels of Vozh on the first turn. Foreign Legion and Panicked collided on the first turn. Fenceline and Time Watcher collided on the second turn. Fenceline checked off the heels of Magic Trance on the second turn. Vozh and Panicked collided on the third turn checking Panicked and severely checking Vozh which contacted the running rail. Curly Eno and Panicked collided approaching the finishing line. Vozh was vetted following the Event and Dr. Narelle Cribb, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions and spike wounds to the left foreleg and left hind. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Cribb, the Stewards will stand Vozh down from competing for 5 days.
