Send Her Over was slow out. Linguist went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground as a result. Destinty Stone and Send Her Over collided soon after the start. Linguist and Send Her Over collided on the first turn checking Send Her Over. Bluey's Luck, Ghost River, Destiny Stone and Mrs. Affair collided on the first turn checking Destiny Stone and Mrs. Affair. Bluey's Luck and Ghost River collided on the second turn checking Linguist, Bluey's Luck, Ghost River and Destiny Stone. Mrs. Affair veered in and marred the running of Destiny Stone in the home straight.
Send Her Over was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Mrs. Affair was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) stewards charged Mrs. Affair with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Cranbourne and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory trial(all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
