Borzov was a late scratching at 12:19pm due to illness. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Kreuzer Murphy and Sweet Impact were slow out. Kreuzer Murphy and Sweet Impact collided several times approaching the first turn checking Kreuzer Murphy. Kreuzer Murphy faltered apporaching the first turn and pulled up. McCue Magic, Neo and My Argument collided on the first turn checking McCue Magic and My Argument.
Kreuzer Murphy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, the greyhound was subsequently euthanised.
