Steward's Report
The start was delayed by seven minutes when the boxes failed to open on the first occassion. Greyhounds were vetted and all cleared to race.
The race was hand started.
Newcastle Man and Eclypse were slow out, Fester Crawford, Oizdon Special and Regal Brett collided approaching the first turn checking Oizdon Special and Regal Brett. Hyde Park and Dewana Beer collided on the first turn checking Hyde Park and Eclypse. Hyde Park and Eclypse collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Regal Brett checked off the heels of Dewana Beer approaching the home turn.
