Miami Rock was slow out.
Marzemino, Teag's Fool and Flightning collided soon after the start.
Just A Major, Marzemino and Flightning collided on the first turn, checking Marzemino and Teag's Fool and severely checking Miami Rock, and Flightning fell as a result.
Flightning was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to the handler of Teag's Fool ,Mr. A Elagaty, regarding his late arrival to the kennels to prepare Teag's Fool for racing. Stewards reminded Mr. A Elagaty of his resonsibilities when handling greyhounds, stewards issued a warning to him regarding the matter.
