Meadow's Lad and Rupture were slow out. In Slips crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Transadler, Rupture, Settlers Run and Meadow's Lad. Meadow's Lad checked off the heels of In Slips at the 250mtr mark. Settlers Run, Rupture and Transadler collided at the 250mtr mark. Settlers Run and Transadler collided at the 200mtr mark.
A sample was taken from In Slips - the winner of the event.
Odile was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a suspected fractured left wrist, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
