Mepunga Destiny and Pippa Peach collided approaching the first turn. Storm Driven, Wyndham Action, Arrabel Bale and Burrawonga Star collided on the first turn. Pippa Peach checked off the heels of Mepunga Destiny on the first turn causing Pippa Peach to stumble and severely check Wyndham Action, Storm Driven and Burrawonga Star as a result. Pippa Peach and Burrawonga Star collided approaching the home turn. Mepunga Destiny and Tears For Trent collided approaching the winning post checking Tears For Trent.
Pippa Peach was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Burrawonga Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left tricep injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
