Steward's Report
Time To Burn and Slipaway Tilly were slow out. Steel Driver, Over The Hedge, Time To Burn, Proven Nevada and Esso collided soon after the start checking Time To Burn and Proven Nevada. Steel Driver, Time To Burn, Proven Nevada and Slipaway Tilly collided on the first turn severely checking Proven Nevada and Steel Driver. Steel Driver fell as a result. Surround Sound and Pause And Lose collided on the first turn. Over The Hedge and Esso collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Over The Hedge. Time To Burn and Slipaway Tilly collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Steel Driver was vetted following the event. It was reported the greyhound sustained a fractured right front shoulder. The greyhound was euthanased.
Proven Nevada was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both pencils and left calf. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
