Steward's Report
Tidal Prince was slow out. Gold Fever, Text Me Shane and Curly Eno collided soon after the start. Gold Fever and Curly Eno collided on the first turn. Gold Fever checked off the heels of Curly Eno on the second turn. Tidal Prince and Curly Eno collided entering the back straight. Can Tango stumbled on the third turn.
Gold Fever was vetted following the Event and Dr. Narelle Cribb, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right monkey muscle and right hock. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Cribb, the Stewards will stand Gold Fever down from competing for 3 days.
Can Tango was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Cribb reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
A swab sample was taken from Tidal Prince, the winner of the Event.
