Steward's Report
Stewards withdrew Surefire Express at 6.35pm kennelling time after Dr. Narelle Cribb, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported to Stewards that the greyhound was presented for racing with lacerations to the right stopper pad. Acting in accordance with GAR 18(4) the Stewards will stand Surefire Express down from competing for 3 days.
Honorah's Lad and Lansley Lad were slow out. Auto Express and Honorah's Lad collided soon after the start. Auto Express and Din's Portrait collided on the first turn. Saint Ossie, Auto Express, Honorah's Lad and Din's Portrait collided entering the back straight. Bundian Polar checked off the heels of Honorah's Lad on the third turn.
