Steward's Report
Zaar, Nancy Wilson and Vintage Moon were slow out. Zaar and Fungus McTaggart collided soon after the start. Fungus McTaggart and Accretion collided soon after the start. Fungus McTaggart, Accretion, Nancy Wilson and Vintage Moon collided approaching the first turn checking Accretion and Nancy Wilson causing Nancy Wilson to race wide as a result. Zaar and Stumblin' collided on the first turn. Accretion and Vintage Moon collided on the first turn. Stumblin' faltered on the second turn and tailed off as a result. Always Rouge and Accretion collided entering the back straight. Fungus McTaggart and Express Checkout collided approaching the home turn. Always Rouge and Express Checkout collided entering the home straight.
Accretion was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Accretion down from competing for 5 days.
Stumblin' was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Stumblin' down from competing for 30 days.
