Steward's Report
Stewards withdrew Arvo's Sentence at 6.50pm kennelling time after Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported to the Stewards that the greyhound was presented for racing lame in the left fore foot. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Arvo's Sentence down from competing for 7 days.
Honorah's Lad, Turbo Charlie and Plastered were slow out. Ocean Typhoon stumbled at box rise and lost ground. Sisco Shot and Turbo Charlie collided soon after the start. Poetic Choice and Honorah's Lad collided on the first turn checking Sisco Shot and Turbo Charlie. Poetic Choice and Plastered collided on the third turn and again on the home turn.
