Steward's Report
Rocky, Miracle Star and Onya Pete were slow out. Token Honour, Token Two and Dylan Tana collided approaching the first turn. Token Honour, Token Two and Dylan Tana collided on the first turn checking Dylan Tana. Miracle Star and Onya Pete collided on the first turn. Dylan Tana and Rocky collided on the first turn. Miracle Star checked off the heels of Barry McWebb on the second turn. Token Honour and Token Two collided on the second turn. Barry McWebb checked off the heels of Rocky entering the back straight. Onya Pete raced wide in the back straight. Dylan Tana checked off the heels of token Two on the third turn. Token Two and Miracle Star collided on the third turn. Token Two and Miracle Star collided on the third turn checking Dylan Tana. Token Two and Onya Pete collided on the home turn.
Barry McWebb was vetted following the Event and Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, K. Kelly, regarding the manner in which Barry McWebb raced on the third turn.
Subsequent to the Event, Tess Jones (weight 28.2 kgs) trialled over 525 metres starting from Box 1. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 5.16: 18.06: 30.55.
