Nobody's Promise and Bozo Bert were slow out. Wandering Wild, Maenad and Stillbroke Fire collided soon after the start. Smokin' Toes checked off the heels of Golden Remy on the first turn, checking Wandering Wild. Wandering Wild and Leyton collided on the first turn. Smokin' Toes galloped on the heels of Nobody's Promise in the home straight. Nobody's Promise, Wandering Wild and Smokin's Toes collided approaching the winning post.
