Yodelling Yoda was slow out. Jimmy Riddle, Moonlight River and Viller Tiger collided approaching the first turn, checking Yodelling Yoda and Viller Tiger and severely checking Moonlight River. Wake Up Wabbit and Surfs Up Sav collided on the first turn, checking Surfs Up Sav. Jimmy Riddle checked off Surfs Up Sav approaching the home turn, checking Moonlight River and Viller Tiger. Moonlight River and Viller Tiger collided approaching the home turn, checking Viller Tiger. Paja Prince and Surfs Up Sav collided on the home turn. Jimmy Riddle and Surfs Up Sav collided on the home turn and entering the home straight. Moonlight River, Yodelling Yoda and Viller Tiger raced wide on the home turn.
Surfs Up Sav was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left shoulder soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
