Barry Stir and Shiraz By Farr were slow out. Moetown Flash, Barry Stir and River Man collided approaching the first turn checking Barry Stir. Why Not Skie, Cool Sound and Cams Bite collided on the first turn checking Cams Bite. Awesome Colour, Moetown Flash and River Man collided on the first turn checking Moetown Flash and River Man and severely checking Shiraz By Farr which raced wide as a result. Awesome Colour checked off the heels of Cams Bite approaching the second turn. Moetown Flash, River Man and Cool Sound raced wide in the back straight. Shiraz By Farr galloped on the heels of River Man entering the home straight.
