Burgman was slow out. Sadie Sage crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Roos Fury, Anders Road and Babylon Star. Sadie Sage, Go Me and Start Counting collided on the first turn checking Anders Road, Babylon Star and Sadie Sage. Anders Road checked off the heels of Roos Fury approaching the first turn. Babylon Star, Sadie Sage and Burgman collided on thr first turn checking Babylon Star and Sadie Sage causing Ander Road to race wide as a result. Roos Fury and Burgman collided approaching the second turn. Spar, Roos Fury, Anders Road and Burgman raced wide in the back straight. Babylon Star checked off the heels of Sadie Sage collided on the home turn checking Anders Road.
