Turbo Tubbs and Hnour Hini were slow out and collided soon after the start. Anna crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ginger Jimmy and El Suron. Typhoon Warning, Dance Colour, Ginger Jimmy and El Suron collided approaching the first turn checking Dance Colour and Ginger Jimmy. Turbo Tubbs and Ginger Jimmy collided approaching the second turn. El Suron eased on the second turn. Uno Archie raced wide on the second turn checking Anna which raced wide as a result. Uno Archie and Ginger Jimmy raced wide in the back straight. Turbo Tubbs and El Suron collided on the third turn. Turbo Tubbs and El Suron collided approaching the home turn, El Suron stumbled as a result. Dance Colour and El Suron collided on the home turn and aagin entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to the Trainer of Uno Archie and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn.
Acting under GAR 96.2 stewards charged El Suro with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Cranbourne and directed the greyhound to perform a STAT, Pursuant to GAR 97.1, before any future nomination will be accepted.
