Marbles Are Red was very slow out. Just Like Zeta was slow out. Tennyson Street was checked off the heels of Dud Bolt on the first turn. Dud Bolt and Waldemar Prince collided on the first turn. Marbles Are Red and Just Like Zeta collided on the second turn. Tennyson Street fought Just Like Zeta in the home straight
Tennyson Street was vetted after the race by the clubs veterinary surgeon Dr Mike Sheedy, and reported that the greyhound had no apparent injury. Acting under AGRR 80.1, stewards charged Tennyson Street with fighting and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed the greyhound undergo a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to AGRR 81.1 before nomination will again be accepted.
