Steward's Report
Duke's Revenge was a late scratching at 3:10pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Bill Baillie and Brother Bat collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.
Bill Ballie checked off Maisie's Flyer approaching the home turn.
Brother Bat raced wide approaching the home turn and collided with Bill Baillie.
Bill Baillie and Brother Bat collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Brother Bat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right tricep. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mrs. P. Boots, the trainer of Brother Bat regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
