Joker Shiraz and Superfine were slow out.
Superfine, Cussler Bale, Royal Nelson and Special Delight collided soon after the start checking Superfine, Cussler Bale and Special Delight.
Joker Shiraz, Infiltrate, Uno Kissy and Kick Up Mick collided on the first turn checking Kick up Mick and Uno Kissy.
Superfine and Infiltrate collided approaching the home turn.
Royal Nelson and Kick Up Mick collided on the home turn.

Joker Shiraz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cramped back muscle, a five day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Williamson, the trainer of the greyhound Joker Shiraz. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a STAT before any future nomination will be accepted.
