Lord Barwon crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Barbies Toyboy, Chadss and Magro. Jeans Folly hit the running rail on the first turn, stumbled as a result and severley checking Big Saverio. Tycoon Jake checked off Bobby Boushay on the first turn. Bobby Boushay checked off Magro approaching the home turn. Barbies Toyboy and Bobby Boushay collided entering the home straight. Chadss and Magro collided approaching the winning post.
Big Saverio was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound received injury to the left digital flexor, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Jeans Folly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound received injurys to the neck and right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
