Steward's Report
Bandit's Flame was slow. Minor Mystery, Exit Speed, Coolbok Star and Formula Beam collided on the first turn, checking Son Of Sauce, Bandit's Flame, Token The Best and Wile Coyote, causing Token The Best and Wile Coyote to race wide. Exit Speed checked off Son Of Sauce on the second turn. Minor Mystery checked off Bandit's Flame on the third turn. Coolbok Star and Bandit's Flame collided approaching hte home turn, causing Coolbok Star to fall, checking Wile Coyote. Son Of Sauce eased approaching the home turn. Token The Best and Wile Coyote collided on the home turn, checking Exit Speed. Son Of Sauce eased entering the home straight, checking Wile Coyote and Token The Best.
Coolbok Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound injured right neck, shouder and back and left hip, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Son Of Sauce was vetted following the event, and was revetted. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Acting under GAR 96.2 stewards charged Son Of Sauce with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Geelong and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 97.1 before any future nominations will be accepted.
