Steward's Report
Pre- Race samples were taken from Elite Chase.
Elite Chase, Ayerod and Whitmore Bale were slow out. Ayerod and Whitmore Bale collided soon after the start. Ayerod and Koskei collided on the first turn, checking Ayerod. Awesome Fun and Hairy Warrior collided approaching the home turn, checking Hairy Warrior. Hairy Warrior cramped in the home straight. Elite Chase and Limburg Star collided approaching the winning post.
Hairy Warrior was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp, no stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to A. Cole, the trainer of Hairy Warrior. Acting under GAR 101 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a STAT before any further nomination will be accepted.
