Steward's Report
Harlequinn Jack, Lou Lou, Briag Bullet and Plastered were slow out.
Plastered checked off the heels of Hurricane Jake on the first turn. Harlequinn Jack galloped on the heels of Dr. Falkenhausen on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Harlequinn Jack and Briag Bullet collided approaching the home turn. Zambezi Milkman and Stay Cool collided on the home turn. Zambezi Milkman eased in the home straight.
Zambezi Milkman was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. A subsequent veterinary examination again found no apparent injury.
Acting under GAR 96.2 stewards charged Zambezi Milkman with faiing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sale and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 97.1 before any future nomination will be accepted.
